Dr. Philip M. Wesley, II

 

 

Dr. Philip M. Wesley II is a native of Long Island, New York. He attended Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College) and later graduated from Atlantic Union College with degrees in Communication and Religion. He continued his education at the Theological Seminary at Andrews University, where he obtained his Master of Divinity Degree. Dr. Wesley earned a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Montemorelos.

 

 

With a passion for music, he founded McGuire Entertainment Group, a marketing ministry for content creators. Through McGuire, he released The MEGA Project
featuring Sherice Tomlin, Mark Prentice, and JMedley. He also co-authored a Young Adult Devotional book titled "Lessons for the Journey."

 

Dr. Wesley contributes to Message Magazine with his column, Elevation: Media That Takes You Higher. He also established Dr. Phil 2: Shaping Your New Start, an organization dedicated to helping students, teachers, and parents create new purposes. Additionally, Dr. Wesley volunteers as a chaplain for the Prince George’s County Police Department.


Throughout his ministry, Dr. Wesley has held numerous leadership roles in New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. He served as the Associate Youth Director for the Northeastern Conference and the Assistant Superintendent for Spiritual Life for 16 Northeastern Conference Schools. He has also served as the Associate Pastor for the Capitol Hill SDA Church and is the lead Pastor for the United in Christ SDA Church in Baltimore, MD.

 

 

Dr. Wesley is married to Lynnett Wesley, the author of "We Need More Clouds," a book for blended families. Together, they are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, Shaniya Josephine, Leah Gabriele, and Peyton Gianna, and a son, Philip III.

 

He is the son of the late Pastor Philip M. Wesley Sr., and Dr. Gwen Wesley, a retired principal, and the brother of Sheryl Wesley, founder of Legacy Week for HBCUs at Martha’s Vineyard.
