Why We Give

As Christians, we believe everything we have ultimately comes from God. Giving is one way we acknowledge Him as our Provider and practice faithful stewardship of the blessings He entrusts to us. It helps us grow in trust, gratitude, and commitment to God’s work.

The Bible encourages giving as an act of worship. Abraham returned a tithe to God (Genesis 14:18–20), Jesus praised the widow’s heartfelt offering (Luke 21:1–4), and Malachi 3:8–12 reminds us that returning tithe reflects our trust in God’s provision.

Tithes

Tithe is considered holy and belongs to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30). It represents the first ten percent of our income and is returned to God as an act of worship and trust in His provision.

Tithe supports the broader mission of the church, including pastoral ministry, Christian education, and the sharing of the gospel around the world. You can learn more about how tithe is allocated through the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

Tithe: The Bible encourages returning 10% of our income to God as an act of faith and worship.

Offerings

Offerings are gifts given beyond tithe as an expression of gratitude to God for His blessings. They provide an opportunity to support God’s work both locally and around the world.

Offerings help fund church ministries, community outreach, mission projects, and the daily needs that keep our church active and serving others.

Offerings: Each person gives prayerfully an amount according to how God has blessed them.

Needs of the Church

Monthly Operating Needs

Supporting our church’s ministries and daily operations requires ongoing financial care. Each month, approximately $9,000 helps cover essential expenses such as utilities, insurance, cleaning services, musicians, treasury operations, christian education, technology and software tools, and transportation services.

These resources help ensure our church remains a welcoming place for worship, fellowship, outreach, and community service.
